Supporting Education in Katakro, Ghana.

At OAK Securities, we’re proud to support a community-led education initiative in Katakro, a small fishing and farming village in Ghana’s Western Region.

This inspiring project is driven by local residents who are committed to creating a safe, welcoming learning environment for the youngest members of their community.

Currently, many children in Katakro must walk nearly 40 minutes each day along unsafe roads to reach the nearest school. The new early learning centre will offer children aged 2–4 a secure space to learn, play, and grow — right in their own village. By bringing education closer to home, the project helps lay the foundation for brighter futures and stronger communities.
